Beautiful, Gifted, Actress, Producer, Music Royalty and simply "The Voice." The light that was Whitney Houston has dimmed as quickly as she burst onto the musical scene. The death of Singer & Popstar, Whitney Houston at the age of 48 has stunned fans and the music industry alike.

And that is only a few of the accolades and milestones she achieved.

She was and will always be the Voice! With a voice that was undeniable and distinct, a voice like no other, Everything she touched turned to Gold. She could make a simple melody sound so heavenly and maybe it was because of her gospel roots or the fact that she came from musical royalty. Or maybe just maybe as she said in her own words, "She was a child of God" and really it was just that simple God had given her a gift like no other. And with that gift she blessed us and gave us hope. Whitney Houston sang like an angel and inspired generations of singers to reach for their dreams. There is not a female entertainer alive who wasn't influenced by Whitney Houston's musical talents.

Many will ponder on the causes of her death and the events leading up to her demise. But in the end none of that will matter, only that she was a mother, a daughter, a niece, a friend, an encourager to others and a shining star. Rest in peace Whitney "We Will Always Love You!"
